Bird Box

According to the RSPB, nest boxes are an excellent substitute for the holes found in old trees that many birds like to nest in, but are becoming increasingly hard to find.

More than 60 species are know to use nest boxes, including blue tits, robins, tree sparrows, and pied flycatchers.

Some birds will roost in nest boxes during cold weather, so they are useful even outside the breeding season.

The record number of birds found in a single box was 61 wrens huddling together for warmth!

The nest box pictured is a delight to the eye, and will create an attractive feature in any garden.
